Memory 23
Memory: "They say that girl killed someone."
Category: Neutral Negative
Game Won: Day 121, Hearts
Pages: Headcanon

Description: This memory is strangely blurry around the edges, like she doesn't remember it well- or doesn't want to.
You're at school, like every day. Your classmates taunt and torture you, like every day. Most just ignore you, but some are braver than others. One girl is particularly cruel, stealing your things, destroying them, calling you horrible names. She even dares to touch you; tripping you as you walk by, pulling your hair, shoving and hitting you when the teachers aren't around to see or care. It's the same thing today, like every day. She corners you between classes, in the stairwell, smiling darkly.
But then something else happens. You don't remember what she says, exactly, that sets you off. You don't remember what makes this time different. All you know is that this time you look up at her. You look in her eyes that aren't smiling, eyes that are filled with loathing and terror, dark and dirty and disgusting and you hate her. You hate all of them. They should be the ones to suffer. They are the ones who don't deserve to be alive, every single one of them, every filthy person who looks at you with such contempt while they ignore the black pitch that twists inside their own souls.
Why can't she see it? You want her to see it. No, you'll make her see it; the dark thing that's inside her, the darkness that's made of anger and fear and pain and death and you hate her and you want her to die, just die, die, die die die-
You don't notice when she falls over. You don't notice when someone finds you there, or when they take her away, screaming and screaming without making a sound, and she doesn't come back the next day or the day after. You don't know if she ever comes back, because the next thing you remember you're at another school, a year or more later, staring down at your desk while another group of classmates huddles on the other side of the room, whispering in scandalized tones as though you can't hear them.
'Hey, did you hear? They say that girl killed someone.'
'Really?'
'Don't make eye contact. I heard that when she looks at you, you die...'
Reaction(s):
-realization of what her last skill shard actually does (aka, mind control)
-the knowledge that she can control people to fucking die
-and that she knows this from experience
-and hey fade
-guess what you did in Roxy's heart game
+100 I'M A MONSTER
+100 fuck people
+1000 GUILT because of accidentally mind-controlling a part of Roxy's heart
+10 hey, I can command people to die, that could potentially be useful
