What can Fade sense about the state of your soul?: Erik's soul ain't pure, that's for sure. It's not completely black either, it's more of a mix. There's good in him, but a lot of other stuff. It has the kind of darkness you'd get from revenge killing, keeping hardline values and suffering a lot. He's also been through Decollage and died a few times so ragged from that.
What abilities does your character have?: Control over magnetic fields. This extends to controlling magnetic metals, and a few other things like electromagnetic flight and general sense of magnet stuff. Certain aspects of COMICS canon suggests he has some natural immunity against telepathic incursions, but in the film so far it's been played as being part of his helmet; so for now I'll say he doesn't have any particular immunity besides having some sensitivity to it, knowing how telepaths work and how to manage his thoughts accordingly.
He can also shapeshift into a wolf, which was a power inserted into him in his previous game. It's not something he was born with.
