What can Fade sense about the state of your soul?: While Cut can be loud and easily angered, he has good intentions and he can be soft hearted - he cares about people. He's not pure but he means well and pretty tame by yakuza standards, too kind for that stuff. But then there's the part where he kind of helped destroy the world out of pure despair and loss of hope (dead sister and tons of family pressure does that), along with ripping out his eye to replace it with a dead despair queen's eye (to see despair how she does)? SO YEAH UHHHH make that of what you will - kind of a broken soul, but it's mostly repaired now. He gets better through canon, rehabilitation virtual realty, that stuff. Helps that he doesn't remember this in canon as well.
What abilities does your character have?: None currently, but stuff like usual of weapons, hand-to-hand combat, self-defense, all that stuff for yakuza needs.
