There's taint all over it, half of it is flagrantly tainted, half is actually pure and bright as it's brand new, and oh yeah she has a half-of-a-soul passenger in Legion that is not really ugly so much as just. Dark. Superdark. The embodiment of darkness. Their halves more or less meet exactly to show they're two halves of the same person--though this might not be obvious when she has her 'half a soul' shard in. What abilities does your character have?: She hasn't regained much of it yet, but she has healing capabilities alongside barrier magic and control over Darkness itself (OPTIONAL) What faction do you think your character would be, if any?: Probably darklore. She's not classically a monster but she is still possessed by Legion, who is kind of a demon?
Would Fade be able to read your emotions/thoughts?: While she can read Zaniah's thoughts there would be background babble in the form of Legion--who is a little headcrab that is very very talkative. There's also a current of EXAMINING EVERY THOUGHT/EMOTION BY TYPE AND DELETING THE ONES SHE DOESNT LIKE so Zaniah's brain is kind of alien. Complicating things more is Legion again, who also only feels one thing at a time and feels it VERY GD STRONGLY so she'll be like, beaming off happiness while she's blatantly frowning. Would Fade be able to control your character's actions? Nope. Zaniah's meditation thing was designed to keep an eldritch abomination that could try and control her thoughts from properly sneaking in anything that she didn't normally want to think or do. If her mind wasn't completely broken she'd catch it right off and go 'deleted.'
