Description: This is the first component of Fade's psychic abilities! Two parts to this: the first is that, simply put, Fade can sense the presence of people's 'souls' and - with practice and familiarity - identify them. For example, she could walk into a room with her eyes closed and tell you how many people were there, with reasonable accuracy. If she was familiar with the people (had sensed their souls before), she could tell WHO was there. She "sees" the souls in her mind as some kind of undefinable presence without a real visual to it. She can also tell the state of the soul (pure-hearted people are like bright lights, while others are "dirty" to varying degrees) and when things are weird about it, like if it's separate from the body a la Soul Gems or if there's any hitchhikers (Belt, Lupus, looking at you).
(Note: although souls are technically in the mirrors in Kyriakos, she'll also be sensing the parts of it that are tied to people's bodies. Mirror rooms will just be additional bright spots on her radar, essentially.)
Second, Fade can vaguely sense people's abilities. Emphasis on vaguely because in canon, this ability allows her to categorize power users based on their faction- a thing that doesn't apply in Kyriakos! However, she'll still be able to tell what people are capable of in very general terms! This means things like, "this person has healing/flight/elemental control/etc", "this person can use Western/Eastern magic", "this person is a demon/magical creature", and so on.
This sense gets more vague with distance, but she can focus on places far away with a decent amount of concentration. In canon she is able to do this across a large city, so the entire castle and surrounding grounds are probably within her range. But for people close by, she cannot turn this off or control it. Their presence is just there, constantly.
